NOTES: Being the avid Head Guy J fan that I am, I got really excited when the chance for a group came up. Jen was organizing a fun photoshoot for Genericon XX, and after some wheeling and dealing I mangaged to get a ride there. The actual costume was really simple in it's construction, although making an accurate pair of pants was ticky.
I drafted the jacket patterns, dyed and cut the blue shirt, made the pants off of a pattern made by Kairi G, and borrowed the pendant from Jen. My gun was made by Mark, who was also our Photographer. The gun has a real laser site and flashlight attached to the barrel. Which is fun to point at people XD. What's also nice is that I have 4 working pockets in the pants, and two really nice Welt pockets on my jacket thanks to Kairi. So it's functional and fashionable.
My wig was sadly left behinde by accident on the trip home, but I had it styled and dyed in time for Anime Boston. The whole group consists of myself as Daisuke, ShinobiHime as Boma, GaurdianBinah as Kyoko Milchan, Nick as J, and Emma as Claire Leonelli.
