NOTES: Originally made for the UNYCosplay Society Halloween Dance in 2006, at which time I didn't have a pendant or a wig.
I had a really hard time finding references for this costume, mainly because at the time I started making it I had only seen a few episodes. Mostly from either friends or when this series was on Cartoon Network. In the end I based a lot of my costume on what other cosplayers had done, which worked out. I opted for a rather dark grey for the dress instead of the lighter grey, I just thought that the lighter grey looked too pale comapred to the rich black. I found out later that her dress is very similar in color to her jumper anyway. So it's all good.
The wig was the first one I ever wefted to put pigtails in it. It was a lot of work and definetly took the most time. Robin's hair is really difficult to style, and so I ended up re-styling the wig about 3 times before it actually worked. The biggest pain was actually the litlle strips of hair that hang down off th ends of the pigtails. They kept getting caught up with other hair and wrapped up by accident.
