NOTES: A fun last minute costume. I really just wanted to make Miwako, but the petticoat died on me, so I used a whole bunch of leftover fabric and made this cute little thing instead. The staff and Tomoeda Elementary School patch took the longest. But it was fun and worth it.
The patch was hand embroidered, and done without embroidery floss (never again). The staff was a dowl, styrofoam egg, and foamies. I used this exciting foam filler to make the styrofoam have nice smooth surface. So I could paint it. The staff looks good far away, but is very ghetto up close!
