NOTES: So I basically made this costume up since we couldn't find any references of Dr. Tenenbaum anywhere aside from one quick scene where you can tell what color her suit is. With a color and a hairstyle in mind, Kairi_g and I decided that a historical 1950's suit with an A-line skirt was appropriate and went to town. As it turns out, Tenenbaum is actually pretty ugly, and we deviated greatly from her in-game design. Who knew.
The construction was simple enough since we spent 3 months making suit jackets in school (ha!). The fabric is kind of crap due to sacrificing quality for color though. The whole thing is made of a cotton sateen that is just a lighter weight than my Van top. My shoes are Vintage Nine West mary jane's, real leather and suede to boot.
It was really awesome getting to 'splice it up' with Kairi_G and Dia as splicers and Glamurang as Andrew Ryan. We tore up Katsucon this year, literally as Dia had some nasty meat hooks to rip into people with. Eventually I plan on making a tonic bottle and a New Year's mask to accompany this horrendously obscure costume.
