NOTES: I had fun being a FFIX monkey butt. As usual I drafted all the patterns and made everything except the boots, which were borrowed from Dia along with the wig and gloves. It was a tight shcedule between Katsucon and Anime Boston this year so I had to cut a few corners and Dia was kind enough to let me borrow her stuff.
My vest is a really cool denim that is a combination of green and black in the warp and weft of the fabric. So it can look either dark green or sort of black ish. I tried to replicate the feel of his CG vest, the 'holster' piece is real leather with 30 functional grommits in it. It's bound by hand in satin and the buckel really works. The pants will always be my favorite part, due mainly to the fact that I feel as if I can fly while I wear them. Haha . . .
